Key Components of This Course
Theory and Science
Gain comprehensive knowledge of Profhilo, an injectable hyaluronic acid, and Polynucleotides. Understand their differences and how they can improve skin quality through deep hydration, treat skin laxity, and promote collagen and elastin production.
These advanced treatments trigger a profound bio-remodelling response, leaving the skin tighter, firmer, and more radiant while addressing concerns such as dullness, sagging skin, and fine lines.
Anatomy and Physiology
HA (Hyaluronic Acid) is a naturally occurring substance within the body; its key role is to provide hydration and elasticity. Vital proteins such as collagen and elastin provide the skin with structure and firmness. Bio-remodelling stimulates the skin to regenerate itself from within.
Safety and Complications
Gain knowledge of common, mild side effects such as bruising and swelling, and how to manage them effectively. Understand that serious risks, such as allergic reactions or infection, are exceptionally rare but must be recognised.
Practical Training
All candidates will have the opportunity to prepare patients for the procedure and gain hands-on experience. You will learn how to mark out your patient and be taught safe and effective injection techniques to administer the treatment confidently.
